Thank you, thank you for your patience while Stone Gathering was on hiatus. I am glad to report it will be just a few more weeks before Stone Gathering’s new iteration makes its way to your mailboxes or to vendors near you.
If you’re a subscriber, you already know that in order to go forward with Stone Gathering I’ve had to shift away from the beloved but costly little books and toward a more practical periodical (gazette-type) format. Stone Gathering, Too may seem more pedestrian on first glance, but I assure you, it’s still Stone Gathering through and through and quite lovely in its own more modest way. The quality of what’s inside hasn’t changed, of course, nor has the spirit of kindness in which these collections are offered; and the mission–to get more exceptional short literature into the hands (and heads and hearts) of as many readers as possible–remains the same.
By the time the first issue of Stone Gathering, Too arrives in your mailboxes (very late May or early June), we will have missed exactly one year of issues. If you subscribe or renew now you won’t have missed a beat. And it’s important to get in at the beginning with Stone Gathering, Too because subscriptions include exclusive access to the serialized story, Throwback Bay by yours truly.
So, here are some ‘quick buy’ links to subscribe.
$40 subscriptions for individuals include 4 issues of Stone Gathering, Too and 8 episodes of the serialized story, Throwback Bay.
$80 subscriptions for individuals include 8 issues of Stone Gathering, Too and 16 episodes of the serialized story, Throwback Bay.
And of course, you may always pay by check (made out to Danielle Dufy Literary, PO Box 334, Brainerd, MN 56401.
Okay, that’s it for now. I am beyond glad to be back!
Kindest ever regards, Deborah
